First Post of Twins Baseball

Not much yet to speak of Twins baseball. One thing I will say is that I like the starting pitchers, but I am grinding my nails while watching our relief pitchers especially our closers. Maybe that comes with the territory but our relief pitchers seem surprisingly worse then last year when our relief pitchers seemed to be the Twins' strength heading into the wildcard game. 

While they had a strong run through Puerto Rico earlier this week that included a 16 inning barn-burner against the division-leading Cleveland Indians. It ended with an RBI by the Twins to end the game. Then later in the week Minnesota has been struggling against the Rays first with a 10-inning near comeback loss and then a 10-1 rout two nights ago. 

Playoff Picture
Not much to say at the moment being so far from even considering the playoffs. But if they were to start today, the Twins would be on the outside looking in by just a few games.
