Very heartbreaking for Twins fans.

Series Updates since I have posted:
Here are how the series' have played out since I posted last:

@ Kansas City: L 0-3
Game 1: Twins 5 Royals 6
Game 2: Twins 2 Royals 4
Game 3: Twins 3 Royals 5
Terrible series by the Twins.

@ Toronto: W 3-0 (Sweep) (MIN wins overall series 4-2)
Game 1: Twins 8 Blue Jays 3
Game 2: Twins 5 Blue Jays 0
Game 3: Twins 12 Blue Jays 6
Maybe the best played series of the entire season by the Twins.

@ Boston: L 1-3 (BOS Wins overall series 4-3)
Game 1: Twins 2 Red Sox 1
Game 2: Twins 3 Red Sox 4
Game 3: Twins 4 Red Sox 10
Game 4: Twins 0 Red Sox 3
Not the best of series' by the Twins. Plenty of times when they could have won the game.

vs. Cleveland: L 1-2
Game 1: Twins 5 Indians 4
Game 2: Twins 2 Indians 6
Game 3: Twins 0 Indians 2
Not really a great series by the Twins but this is during the trade deadline so they had missing pieces and now they are trying to figure out who fits where.

The Twins are not playing very well as of lately. They win a game here and there but never get a streak going.

Trade Deadline
Minnesota was a seller at the trade deadline. They said goodbye to 4 players. In the past week they said goodbye to Eduardo Escobar, Lance Lynn, Zach Duke, and Brian Dozier. They really didn't get much more then prospects for these players, which is a real shame. They most definitely could have gotten more for Escobar and Dozier. Now I don't know why they traded Lynn and Duke because pitching is something that we don't want to lose right now especially since the Twins' bullpen has been rather lacking the last few years.
Anyway, thank you to all four of you for your time in Minnesota. I know it was painful and now all four of you are on teams that will make the playoffs this year, one thing Minnesota could never offer you.

AL Central Update
Not much has changed in the division race. Minnesota is now 10 games behind Cleveland.

Up Next
The Twins stay at home to play a 3-game series vs. Kansas City who swept them just a couple weeks ago.

Go Twins!
