Twins finish Series vs. White Sox Tied, Move on To Angels

The Twins did not do as well as I thought they would against a very much lesser team in the White Sox, but never the less they didn't totally disappoint.

Series Scores:
Game 1: Final: Twins 4 White Sox 2
Adds to Escobar's outstanding stretch of games here and an impressive offensive outing in general with multiple 3-run home runs by multiple players.
Game 2: Final: Twins 3 White Sox 6
Not the best game by the Twins. Escobar still played well nevertheless.
Game 3: Final: Twins 2 White Sox 5
Another weird game for the Twins, and they let one of their former pitchers get revenge.
Game 4: Final: Twins 7 White Sox 2
Jose Berrios (7-5) had an outstanding 6-hit game! Escobar had another home run this game, a 2-run homer this time. Rosario reappeared in much needed fashion and hit a 3-run homer.

Summary
Some are saying the game 3 loss is the Twins' worst loss of the season. Now I don't agree with that but this may be the worst singular loss of the year. Because during the losing streak, there were some losses there where the Twins just looked awful.

For a while before the Cleveland series, I was starting to believe that last year was a fluke for the Twins. But last year they didn't have a ton of injuries. Its so awesome, though, to see the Twins have some life again.

Bullpen
1B Logan Morrison is back after sitting out the last few games with back stiffness and he doubled in the first inning. He is currently playing in place of Joe Mauer who is still out with concussion-like symptoms.

AL Central Update
The Twins currently sit 5 games behind Cleveland and are tied with Detroit for second place in the division. Chicago and Kansas City are still fighting for fourth place as they are only separated by a game.

Up Next
Minnesota finishes their 11-game homestand this weekend with a 3-game series vs. the Angels. They begin on Friday at Target Field.
