Twins get swept by Mariners

I really don't want to talk about this so I will leave it short.

Final: Twins 1 Mariners 2

Final/12: Twins 3 Mariners 4
Adds to the most walk off losses in the MLB.

Final: Twins 1 Mariners 3

Because the Mariners swept us, they are now the team to watch.
Many ask me what is wrong with the Twins these days. They ask if its the pitching, starters or relievers. What they don't ask me is if its the bats. That seems to be the problem more then anything. The starting pitching seems to be fine, some of our starting pitchers are the best I have seen out of the Twins in a while. The relievers could be better but still they aren't even the complete problem. Its the offense, the bats just aren't working. As you can see, the offense only scored 5 runs in the entire series vs. the Mariners. Miguel Sano has been back for a while now and still has made no difference.

AL Central Update
Because of the 3 straight losses, the Twins have now fallen a half game behind Detroit. Cleveland remains atop the division with a 3 game lead.

Bullpen
Joe Mauer is still out with concussion-like symptoms.

Up Next
Minnesota continues its road trip with a visit to Kansas City on Monday at 6:15 pm.
