Twins have only one bright spot in abysmal series vs. Rangers

6/25/2018

Well, at least we have Jose Berríos.

Series Scores
Game 1: Twins 1 Rangers 8
Terrible, just terrible.
Game 2: Twins 6 Rangers 9
More disappointment.
Game 3: Twins 2 Rangers 0
All the more to consider Jose Berríos an ace!

Series Summary
Kind of a let-down series for the Twins. But at least Berríos is great.

AL Central Update
Now I may think that the Twins are terrible. But surprisingly the Tigers are worse. Detroit has lost 6 straight and the Twins have gone an even 3-3 in their last 6 games. Minnesota is now in second place in the division with a half-game lead over Detroit.
Cleveland has found their groove as of late, they have won their last 7 games and have an 8 game lead over the Twins.

Bullpen
Both Eddie Rosario and Eduardo Escobar returned to the lineup during the series. OF Byron Buxton has gone 3 for 16 in his rehab assignment for Triple-A Rochester and there is still no timetable for his return to the majors.

Up Next
The Twins head back on the road for a 9-game road trip. It begins in Chicago, where the Twins will face both Chicago teams back to back. Minnesota starts with a 3-game series vs. the White Sox on Tuesday, June 26th.

Go Twins!
