Twins return to old ways, lose series to struggling white sox

The Twins decided to become even worse then they were before and got blown out by the White Sox of all teams.

Series Scores
Game 1 Final: Twins 4 White Sox 8
The Twins had a lead, then they didn't.
Game 2 Final: Twins 1 White Sox 6
This was just pathetic. The Twins didn't score until the 9th inning.
Game 3 Final (13 innings): Twins 2 White Sox 1
The Twins had to fight for 13 innings to get this win. Seriously, its the White Sox.

Series Summary
I really hope this is the worst that the Twins can offer. Because right now I cannot imagine anything worse. They just can't hit. When people ask me why the Twins are doing so bad, I will tell them that it surprisingly isn't the pitching. Its the hitting, there isn't any of it. The only good hitting we had lately was Escobar and Rosario, and it seems they aren't playing like themselves anymore. Miguel Sano isn't back yet and Brian Dozier has become a shell of his former self. More on a few of those players later.

AL Central Update
I don't know why the Twins can't hit lately. But the Twins are getting some much needed help in the standings. Detroit still cannot win at all. So Minnesota has grown its lead over Detroit in the standings to a game and a half. But the Twins are still 8 games behind Cleveland.

Trade Rumors
It is really unfortunate that I have to talk about this but there is a report going around that the Twins will be listening for offers surrounding 3B/SS Eduardo Escobar, 2B Brian Dozier, and RHP Lance Lynn. If the front office is really considering trading away not one or two but all three of these great players, I hope they have a great offer to show for it. I am surprised though about Lance Lynn, didn't think anyone wanted him. If they do end up trading Brian Dozier at least they would get something in return because it was reported this past summer he does not want to stay here in Minnesota any longer. If they trade Escobar this would really hurt. He never really had a chance to shine on the Twins' roster so I would wish him good luck on wherever he goes because I really think he is an All-Star both on offense and defense.
It really sucks when your hometown team is selling off their assets to other teams.

Bullpen
RF Taylor Motter had an injury scare in the sixth inning after trying to catch a ball while hitting the outfield wall. He will be re-evaluated for chest soreness. SS Jorge Polanco was scheduled to DH in one game and SS in another in a double-header for Triple-A Rochester on Thursday. He is eligible to return from his 80-game suspension on July 5th.

Up Next
The Twins stay in Chicago for a 3-game series vs. the Cubs. Jose Berríos will be pitching! The series starts on Friday, June 29th.

Go Twins!
