Twins struggle against Yankees

4/27/2018

This week the Yankees obliterated the Twins. They have scored a combined 29 runs against Minnesota this week, by far more then any other team this season.

The Twins and Rays finished their series as well earlier this week, not long after my last update. The Twins lost a close one, 6-8.

Minnesota is now riding a 6 losing streak, and got passed in the standings and are now tied with Detroit for 2nd place in the AL Central. The just got swept by the Yankees and now move back to Target Field for a stretch where they will play Cincinnati and Toronto. Right now there are not any great concerns regarding the Twins' ability to win, but if they cannot pull out a win against either of those teams then there are serious concerns.

Injury Report
Update on Byron Buxton: Sounds like he is still dealing with migraines, but is getting better and should be back with the team next week.

Go Twins!
