Twins win series vs. cleveland 3-1

Quite the series for the Twins, as they cruise to a 3-1 series victory over the Cleveland Indians on Sunday.

Series Scores:
Final: Twins 8 Indians 9
Minnesota couldn't complete an 8-run comeback, which would have set a new club record.
Final: Twins 7 Indians 4
Eduardo Escobar had 2 home runs in this game!
Final: Twins 7 Indians 1
Lance Lynn allowed only 1 earned run. Eddie Rosario hit a 2-run home run and Brian Dozier got 2 in.
Final: Twins 7 Indians 5
Very satisfying walk-off win, a change of the tune for the Twins as they are now 2-12 in walk-offs at Target Field.

Minnesota had a solid outing over the weekend against a good Cleveland team. The Twins heading into this series had only won 3 of their last 9 games. Cleveland had won 7 of their last 9.

Definitely a different tune heading into this White Sox series. If Twins can hold on to this they just might might move back into 2nd place in the division.

AL Central Update
The Twins are now 4 games behind Cleveland and a half game behind Detroit. Kansas City is still a solid 7 games behind Minnesota with White Sox threatening to take their place as they are only a game behind.

Bullpen
C Mitch Garver is now available only one day removed from a foul tip to the knee.
Still no word on the status of 1B Joe Mauer or OF Byron Buxton.

Up Next
The Twins start their 4-game series vs. the White Sox on Tuesday with a double-header at Target Field.

Go Twins!
