Game Summary:
Today was a great day for the Vikings! Dalvin Cook was scheduled to return from injury today for the first time since leaving the game at Seattle 3 weeks ago.
The game started off as a back and forth between the two rivals. Green Bay received the ball first and scored. Then the Vikings marched down and did the same thing. This happened twice before the Packers ended the half.
Coming out of the half I was very skeptical as the 3rd quarter has always been the Vikings worst enemy. However the first drive quelled any fears I had, the Vikings marched down for yet another Cook touchdown.
The Packers then received the ball, but the Vikings defense stalled them around midfield and the Vikings got the ball right back. Cook then had one of his highlights of the day as he broke away from the line of scrimmage for a 50 yard rushing touchdown on a 3rd and 9.
After this the Vikings made me bite my nails for the remainder of the game.
The Packers and Vikings exchanged punts after that before the Packers scored with 2:30 to go in the game.
To make this worse, the Vikings allowed a 2-point conversion on said touchdown.
The Vikings then proceeded to not go anywhere again but burned 1:55 off the clock.
Green Bay received the ball around their own 30. They marched down to midfield before finding themselves with 10 seconds remaining. Then on the last play of the game, DJ Wonnum got a strip sack on Aaron Rodgers to end the game!

Today the Vikings offense played pretty good. It was closer then it should have been but at this point, a win is a win!

Injury Report
As many may remember in the 1st quarter, rookie CB Cam Dantzler had a bad hit that knocked him unconscious. He was stretchered off the field and transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. Fortunately he only has a concussion and nothing more. He will be joining the team on their way back to Eagan tonight.
I also remember CB Kris Boyd going down as well. I have not heard much about him or his injury.

Up Next
Now the Vikings will return home to face the 2nd of their 3 consecutive division games when they play host to the Detroit Lions. Kickoff is next Sunday, November 8 at 12 PM CT.
