Game Summary:
This game was a great game for the offense but a terrible embarrassment by the defense. Kirk Cousins and Aldrick Robinson connected for two TD's right away to start the game for the Vikings. These two have some history back in Washington so this isn't too much of a surprise. If they can keep this up, I think Robinson will edge Treadwell out of the WR3 role. I am still on track in thinking Treadwell will be gone this summer. There really was never a moment where the Vikes were completely out of the game but after the second quarter it never really felt like they could win the game. It also doesn't help that the rushing game can't get anything.

NFC North Update
After the games on Sunday the Vikings are in third place. They are no longer tied with Green Bay and the Packers are a half game ahead and Chicago is cruising in first with a two game lead on the Vikes. Detroit remains in last place only a half game behind Minnesota.

Injury Report
Dalvin Cook (hamstring) did play on Thursday but had a pitch count. He should play next Sunday in Philadelphia without setbacks. Everson Griffen is out for the foreseeable future dealing with a mental health issue.

Up Next
Minnesota continues finishes the road trip with a visit to Philadelphia next Sunday, October 7th. Kickoff is at 3:25 PM CT.

SKOL Vikings!
