Game Summary:
Really isn't much to report on this game. The Vikings started off slow but eventually gained steam later in the 1st quarter. Probably the highest scoring game I have seen from the Vikings in many weeks. Cousins played very well today and was able to help Jefferson break both the team and NFL rookie receiving records! I will save a lot of the reviewing aspects of the game and others for my season review that will be out later this week.
In reality I do think the Vikings missed Cook quite a bit today. Mattison was able to fill in and accumulate 140+ scrimmage yards against a sub par Detroit defense today. Overall the team played fairly well. I could tell the defense was practically limping to get to the finish line of the season. You just watch any play of theirs and you can see the inexperience and the lack of effort on some plays. Hopefully next season brings a better defense.

Injury Report
RB Dalvin Cook did not play today as he is out because of his father's passing. Again, we here at Wildshow Minnesota send our deepest condolences to the entire Cook family.
CB Chris Jones did not play today.
CB Cameron Dantzler did not play today.
LB Eric Kendricks did not play today still due to his calf injury.
DE Jalyn Holmes and DE Ifaedi Odenigbo also did not play today.

Up Next
Now the Vikings will move into the offseason with a lot of question marks for next season. Look for my season review later this week!

Until next time Vikings fans,
Skol!
