The Vikings had a good day, that excluded bad coaching somehow.

Game Summary:
Overall the Vikings had a great game. It seemed this team had great situational awareness today. The defense struggled for most of the game, but figured it out in the final 10 minutes when it mattered most. Coaching didn't hinder the offense in the final 10 minutes of the game which was a first. This team wasn't conservative in the 4th quarter, which is the first time this year that happened.
Some of the biggest highlights were that Justin Jefferson had himself a day, with 3 huge catches that advanced the ball downfield. Especially a catch with 2:30 to go in the game that basically set the Vikings up to put the game away. Also, Dalvin Cook had quite the game himself running for 95 yards and a score. One might argue he almost had 3 touchdowns today when he was short of the goal line twice. Also, Tyler Conklin had a great day also. He was mainly a redzone target for Cousins but hauled in two touchdowns in the first half.
This is probably the Vikings most complete game on offense they played all year besides the Arizona game. The defense needs work but I will explain more about that below.

Playoff Picture
Its halfway through the season and we are starting to look at potential playoff pictures.
Here is the NFC Playoff picture right now:
1. Green Bay (8-2)
2. Arizona (8-2)
3. Dallas (7-2)
4. Tampa Bay (6-3)
5. LA Rams (7-2)
6. New Orleans (5-4)
7. Carolina (5-5)
Bubble:
Minnesota (4-5)
Atlanta (4-5)

The Vikings need to keep winning more games. Once Carolina hits their bye, the Vikings will have the tiebreaker on them since they beat the Panthers last month. This stretch is tough, but if this season has been any example, this team will never be out of any game no matter the team. None of their losses has been by more then one score.

Up Next
The Vikings come home next weekend for the twice yearly border battle with the Packers. Game time is at 12 PM CT in US Bank Stadium.
