Game Summary:
Again, plain and simple the Vikings just sucked yesterday. The defense of course wasn't very great which I had expected. The only thing they got out of yesterday is experience. However, what really surprised me yesterday is how badly the offense played. I am not very happy with Cousins because he didn't play well at all, but like last week its not 100% his fault. I am by no means a Cousins supporter but when an offense plays this badly, its not the quarterback's fault all the time. This offense didn't even look like they switched it up all day. My question is what is going on with Gary Kubiak? Didn't really call a variety of plays all day long. Something needs to change for this team very quickly or we could be in for a very long season.

Let me be clear: these next 4 weeks are going to be our toughest opponents all year long. If this offense can't find a way to attack by next week or the week after, we may start the year 0-6. This could be the worst year we have seen yet. I am revising my outlook for the year already. I give this team a 10-6 ceiling, and a 5-11 floor. I hope they can turn this around.

Injury Update:
OL Pat Elflein was put on Injured Reserve this past week, which means he will be out for a minimum of 3 weeks. However I am hearing throughout the Vikings media that he will be out for at least 4 weeks, he has a thumb injury.
DE Danielle Hunter is still out, he is scheduled to be eligible to return from IR in Week 4.
New this afternoon, LB Anthony Barr will be placed on Injured Reserve as well. He has a torn pectoral muscle. This will most likely put him out for the season.

Up Next:
This week the Vikings will return to US Bank Stadium to play the Tennessee Titans. Lets hope it goes better. Kickoff is at 12 PM CT on Sunday, September 27.

Correction: a torn pectoral muscle is a season-ending injury.
