Game Summary:
Now I can't say too much about the game since I listened to this on the radio. But from what I did hear, the Vikings played really well in the first half. They popped out to a 14-7 lead with around 5 minutes to go in the 1st half. Then the defense collapsed. The defense allowed a drive that lasted the rest of the first half and tied the game up.
In the second half the team slowly fell apart. The defense didn't get any better. They allowed pretty much every drive the Niners had. Meanwhile the Vikings did score twice in the 3rd quarter, but missed an extra point and failed the two point conversion. San Fran got the advantage when they intercepted Kirk Cousins on a bad throw over the middle. Later in the game, Dalvin Cook was rushing when his offensive lineman was pushed back into him and he dislocated his shoulder and fumbled. Dalvin was carted off the field after this play, we will talk about this later.
Not much happened in the 4th quarter. No one scored as the Vikings weren't able to gain an advantage on offense.

Injury Report
RB Dalvin Cook left the game on Sunday after apparently dislocating his shoulder. He had to be carted off the field. Today the MRI showed he dislocated his shoulder with also some damage inside his shoulder muscle. The Vikings have not said how long they expect Cook to be out. Given other injuries, I expect Cook will be out at least 3 games if not 5.
LB Anthony Barr left the game as well during the 3rd quarter. There has been no update on his status
OL Christian Darrisaw left the game in the 4th quarter. There has been no update on his status.
CB Patrick Peterson was put on the Covid list today.

Up Next
Now the Vikings will continue their road trip when they visit the 0-10-1 Detroit Lions next Sunday. Kickoff is at 12 PM CT.
