The Minnesota offense just couldn't get anything going in a terrible loss at home to the Packers on Monday Night Football.
Green Bay Packers 23 Minnesota Vikings 10
Minnesota:
QB:
K. Cousins 16/31 122 yds 1 TD 1 INT 58.8 avg
RB:
M. Boone 11 car 28 yds 2.5 avg
WR:
S. Diggs 3 rec 57 yds 19.0 avg 1 TD
A. Abdullah 6 rec 31 yds 5.2 avg
K:
D. Bailey 1/1 FG (23 yd) 1/1 XP
DEF:
A. Harris 1 INT
D. Hunter 1 sack
S. Weatherly 1 sack
I. Odenigbo 1 sack

Game Recap:
I am still very appalled by this game. The first half went ok for the Vikings. The defense was making great stop and the offense was sputtering but still found ways to score. The defense had even intercepted Aaron Rodgers already and recovered a fumble. The offense scored all 10 points off of these 2 turnovers.
Then the second half rolled around and the entire offense unraveled. While the Vikings earlier tried a well designed trick play but Diggs overthrew the ball to Cousins. This I believe was the final nail in the coffin. Then in the second half Cousins threw an interception on a promising drive. He just got too greedy. And I don't fault the defense for this. They made stops while the offense sputtered. They continued this all the way until the 4th quarter. Then they couldn't anymore because of how tired they were. This loss is on the offense, specifically Kirk Cousins. He proved again that he can't play in the big games. This sucks. I really hate this loss.

NFC North Update
Green Bay clinched the division last night with their win. Minnesota already had clinched a playoff spot last week so this didn't change too much.

Playoff Update
With their win last night Green Bay moves to the number 2 spot in the NFC. San Francisco and Seattle are still fighting for the number 1 seed, which will be decided this week when they face each other on SNF. Philadelphia has the number 4 seed for the time being. If they win this week they are in, otherwise they would need Dallas to lose. Minnesota is now locked for a number 6 seed as there is no scenario they can win to get any higher.

Up Next
Now the Vikings will remain home to play the Bears next Sunday to finish out the regular season. Kickoff is at 12 PM CT.
