Game Summary:
What a game this was. The Vikings came out a little sluggish in the 1st quarter. They were able to kick two field goals, but Carolina scored a touchdown to give them the lead. In the 2nd quarter the Vikings were able to put together a touchdown drive to TE Chris Herndon, picked up from the Jets at the beginning of the season.
The Panthers kicked a field goal before half and the Vikings had the lead going into the second half. Things ebbed and flowed for the rest of the game. The Panthers blocked a Vikings punt in the 3rd quarter and returned it for the touchdown giving them the lead. But the Vikings had other things to say about that, they scored 2 touchdowns a field goal regaining the lead to a two score game. However, on 2 of the 3 touchdowns, the Vikings tried for 2 point conversions and failed.
But they wanted to blow this so badly. So Carolina went down and got a field goal, then got a touchdown and two point conversion to tie the game at 28. The Vikings got back on the field and drove down for a game winning field goal. However, Joseph missed the 40 yard attempt and we went to overtime.
The Vikings won the toss and elected to receive. They drove down the field and won on a 30 yard touchdown pass to 2nd year receiver KJ Osborn for the win!

Injury Report
RB Dalvin Cook played today after missing the last 2 games with an ankle injury.
All other inactives were mostly healthy scratches.
