Vikings roll over the Eagles, head into yet another division matchup

The Minnesota Vikings rolled to a win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday by a score of 38-20.
Not going to say much in this recap as it was just a great game for lots of people.

Game Recap:
Philadelphia Eagles 20 Minnesota Vikings 38

Offense:
QB:
K. Cousins 22/29 333 yds 4 TD 1 INT 138.4 rtg
RB:

D. Cook 16 car 41 yds 2.6 avg 1 TD
WR:

A. Thielen 6 rec 57 yds 1 TD
K:
D. Bailey 1/1 FG (39) 5/5 XP
DEF:
M. Alexander 1 INT 0.5 sacks
E. Griffen 1 INT
D. Hunter 1 sack

This was an absolutely spectacular game for the Vikings! They started off the game very quick. It was already 10-0 after the first quarter on Adam Thielen's touchdown for the day on a nice pass from Kirk Cousins.
The second quarter went much better as well as Cousins tossed 2 TD's to Stefon Diggs and boosted his confidence! How about that of a statement!
While the defense did allow us to sweat a little bit, they still did face a tough Eagles team with Carson Wentz. They did catch up in the 3rd quarter. However the Vikings then asserted their dominance with a crafty interception by Everson Griffen. The Vikings then scored again with a Cousins-Diggs connection! That would end up being all that they needed to seal the game as they then did not allow the Eagles to score the rest of the game.
It was a great game on both sides. While the defense did allow the Eagles to catch up that doesn't honestly matter because they did stop them when they needed to in the 4th quarter.

Standings Update
This update does produce a good result. The rest of the NFC North has yet to play this week or is on bye (Chicago) so the Vikings have jumped up to #2 in the North thus far with a (4-2) record. Now tomorrow night if the Packers win the Vikings should keep that spot since they would be at least a game up on the Lions. If the Lions were to win the Vikings would drop to at least 3rd if not back to last given that the Lions would be a half game up and the Packers have the tie breaker thus far. Just keep on eye on the NFC North portion of this page.

Up Next
Now the Vikings will travel to Detroit to take on the Lions (2-1-1) in the 3rd and final away divisional game of the season. Kickoff is at 12 PM CT. Go Vikings!
