Game Summary:
The game started how most have started for the purple this year. Minnesota started out incredibly flat, and got better as time went on. The Vikings were held scoreless until the final 5 minutes of the 1st half when Greg Joseph kicked a 39 yard field goal to get the Vikings on the board. At the half the Bears led the Vikings 14-3.
In the second half, Minnesota came out swinging. The first drive ended in a long touchdown to Smith-Marsette to cut away at the Bears' lead. The next several drives ended in punts. But the Bears were able to finally capitalize in Vikings territory and kicked a field goal to put Chicago up 17-10. In the 4th quarter the Vikings tied it up with a 70+ yard bomb TD to Justin Jefferson. Not too long after that, the Vikings took over after another interception. This time the touchdown went to KJ Osborn for a 20 yard reception. To seal the game, Patrick Peterson intercepted Andy Dalton for a touchdown.
Final score was 31-17.

This was most likely Mike Zimmer's last game in purple. If it is, then the last 8 seasons have been one helluva ride and I want to thank him for his time here in Minnesota. It will be a tenure not soon forgotten! Thank you Mike!

That concludes the regular season coverage of the Vikings. Look for my season review sometime later this week!

Until next season, Vikings fans
