Game Summary:
Minnesota did not start off on the right foot, while the Vikings scored on their first possession off a TD pass to Mattison. On Minnesota's next drive, Cousins threw a pick. In the second quarter, the Saints managed to score a touchdown of their own. Mostly the rest of the half was nothing special, until the Vikings got the ball back twice under 4 minutes and kicked two field goals, 28 yards and 36 yards to take a 13-7 lead at halftime.
Minnesota's defense played well out of the half and managed to get the offense the ball back. On that drive, the Vikings managed to kick a 24 yard field goal. New Orleans proceeded to score on the next drive to bring the lead to a one score game at 16-14.
The fourth quarter started off well for the purple! Minnesota kicked yet another field goal, this one from 46 yards out. Then the Saints scored a touchdown on their next drive to take the lead, 22-19. The Vikings then scored on their next drive, however Joseph missed the extra point. This gave Minnesota the lead back, 25-22. However, the Saints kicked another field goal on their next drive, from 60 yards out. Minnesota then drove down quickly and kicked a 47 yard field goal that would eventually win them the game. The Saints had a chance on their last drive, and attempted a long field goal, but it doinked off the right post and crossbar.

Injury Report
Rookie S Lewis Cine left the game in the 1st half after suffering a compound fracture in his leg. He stayed in London throughout the weekend and most of the week after he had successful surgery. He is out for the foreseeable future.
