Game Recap:
First of all this game was quite the game! The Vikings offense and defense had a great first half and great 3rd quarter. The offense got off to a relatively hot start and kicked 2 field goals and scored a Cook touchdown in the first half. In the 3rd quarter the offense came out after a Saints 3-out to score another Cook touchdown. Everything was looking up but every Vikings fan could feel that it wasn't over yet. Either the Vikings needed to score again to punch the wall through or the Saints had more up their sleeve. Turned out the offense can only sputter for so long before the defense sputters too. They proceeded to allow the Saints to score a TD. But then on the next Saints drive the defense stripped Drew Brees for a fumble. But the offense did nothing with it. The Saints then wasted time and made a field goal with 2 seconds left in regulation.
After that the Vikings won the coin toss and elected to receive. They marched down the field with excellent catches from Diggs, Thielen and eventually Rudolph who scored the walkoff touchdown!
No one, and I mean no one, expected the Vikings to beat the Saints. So this truly is amazing!

Playoff Update
So in the NFC the other wild card match is currently playing out as I write this between Philadelphia and Seattle. Green Bay will play the winner of that game. Minnesota will now travel to San Francisco for the divisional round.
