Game Summary:
Gosh this one still has me scratching my head. The Vikings came out of the tunnel today and put up an abysmal first half on both sides of the ball. Cook wasn't getting through the first level and Cousins hardly had open receivers. Dallas was cutting the defense apart like swiss cheese (I see you Dalvin Cook) and it was looking like our young defense was regressing back to the first 6 games.
But then the team came out in the second half and the offense blew the socks off the Cowboys defense. Cousins threw all 3 TDs in the second half and boy were all of them spectacular! He threw 2 to Adam Thielen and both of them where stunning, including a one handed catch in the back right corner of the endzone! Another one was to Justin Jefferson that lifted the Vikings to a crucial lead with 4 minutes left.
Then it was the defense's chance to change the game. However they came up short and allowed the game winning touchdown for Dallas with 1:30 remaining in the game. The offense couldn't come up with anything as they looked very much on their heels.
Do I think this team can make the playoffs? No. They had to win the next three games to have a shot. They now would need to make this game up against Tampa Bay or New Orleans, which isn't going to happen unfortunately. The door most likely closes on playoffs this year now for good. Very unfortunate given this offense's firepower, no way this offense belongs on a 4-6 football team.
Now this team looks to play spoiler the rest of the year.

Up Next
The Vikings continue their homestand next weekend when they welcome the Carolina Panthers and former QB Teddy Bridgewater to town. Kickoff is next Sunday, November 29th at 12 PM CT.
