The Minnesota Wild had a terrible start to the season but now they have won 2 straight and have a positive record entering the weekend.

Game Recaps:

10/16: Arizona Coyotes 1 Minnesota Wild 2
Goals (MIN): Mikael Granlund, Eric Staal
Goals (ARI): Brendan Perlini
Goalies: Dubnyk, 31 saves (MIN) Kuemper, 26 saves (ARI)

10/19: Minnesota Wild 3 Dallas Stars 1
Goals (MIN): Matt Dumba, Ryan Suter, Zach Parise
Goals (DAL): Jason Spezza
Goalies: Dubnyk, 33 saves (MIN) Bishop, 33 saves (DAL)

In both of these games the Wild's high profile scorers made a dent. Dubnyk is starting to get on a roll after allowing 9 goals in 2 games. Hopefully this trend continues.

Standings Update
The Wild moved to 5th place in the Central Standings after winning 2 straight and several others moving.

Up Next
Now the Wild come home for an entire week and play Tampa Bay, Los Angeles, and Colorado.
