Wild Lose Game 5, Winnipeg moves on

The Wild lost to the Jets on Friday by a score of 5-0. The Jets move on to the Conference Semis and Minnesota's season ends after five games.

Quite the odd year it was for the Wild, as no one had picked them to even make the playoffs back in 2017. They made an impressive point streak in the last month of the regular season to get into the playoffs. Except they played against Winnipeg, one of the teams many analysts are picking to contend for the Cup this year. Its not a complete loss though as we got to see more of our bright young players in Jordan Greenway and Nick Steeler. Next year should be a bright year as Ryan Suter and Zach Parise should be back to start the season. 

Overall not a very interesting playoff run but an interesting year overall for the Wild.
