Jamal crawford declines 2018-19 option, will become free agent this summer

On Wednesday, Jamal Crawford informed Timberwolves management that he will be declining his 2018-19 option on his contract and will become a free agent this summer.

This season Crawford averaged 10.3 PPG, 2.3 APG, 1.2 RPG for the Timberwolves.

Crawford shouldn't be missed too much by the Wolves as he is 38 years old and did virtually nothing on defense. If Minnesota is smart, they draft a nice guard in the draft to replace him or use Tyus Jones or Aaron Brooks more often.

While he won't be missed very much on paper, I can say the locker room will miss him. If his attitude towards his play on the court is at all similar to his locker room attitude then there will be a missing spot in that room this year.

J-Crossover, you will be missed. Good luck wherever you go.
