Timberwolves a wave of emotions after preseason

The Timberwolves will be an interesting team to watch this season for 2 reasons:
Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. 
This has been the case for 5 years since Towns was drafted. These two are the centerpieces of the organization. I know Towns will perform when called upon, but will Wiggins this season? Wiggins needs to have a great year. He needs to shoot the shots that he has been asked to shoot like we have seen glimpses of this preseason. If he does this the Wolves would most likely make the playoffs. He also needs to play defense. If these guys can play together like family, and play defense, and communicate the Wolves can make the playoffs and compete with teams like Portland and Oklahoma City. If this works how we hope the Wolves should make the playoffs. However if things fall apart there will be hard conversation with several Wolves executives. 
Another fear is that Karl-Anthony Towns will see the writing on the wall and request a trade or ride out his contract and leave. I don't think he will stay in this lull of a process for much longer with not much success. This team needs to produce something this season. 

The season starts on Wednesday, Wolves. Make it happen.
