Game Recap:
Minnesota started off the game redhot. They ended the first quarter with a 41-33 lead over the Grizzlies. The second quarter led to a tough quarter for the Wolves, Memphis made a big push to try and take the lead and they did briefly. But the Wolves were able to regain the lead and went into the half with a 65-62 lead.
In the third quarter both teams seemingly couldn't miss a shot, but nevertheless Minnesota maintained their composure and came through with a lead heading into the final frame. The 4th quarter was mostly Wolves basketball, save for a couple Grizzlies runs.
Minnesota played very well on Saturday and looked like the better team from start to finish. It was a very impressive showing from the Wolves! I expect them to contend with Memphis this entire series, and I think they have a shot to win it. The key to any series is at least trying to steal an away game, and take care of your home games. If the Wolves can take care of their games in Minneapolis, they could steal the series.
Anthony Edwards had the 4th best playoff debut in NBA history with 36 points. KAT had his playoff career high in points. This playoff series has started out better for the Wolves then could have been imagined.

Injury Report
Taurean Prince was on the injury report again, but he did play considerable minutes on Saturday, so its a moot point.

Up Next
The Wolves will continue to stay in Memphis and will play Game 2 against the Grizzlies on Tuesday at 7:30 PM CT. Minnesota leads the series, 1-0.

Lets go Wolves!!
