Update to Timberwolves/NBA 2019-20 Season

On the evening of March 11, 2020, NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced the indefinite suspension of the 2019-20 NBA season effective after the conclusion of Wednesday's games. This came after a Utah Jazz player tested positive for coronavirus just moments before tip-off between the Jazz and the Thunder in Oklahoma City. The next day we would discover that another Jazz player also tested positive for the virus. 
At the time being it seemed uncertain as to what the commissioner's office was thinking as to what the rest of the season would hold. They then announced at the end of the week that after discussions with team owners, the NBA announced they will consider resuming the season in 30 days. 
However, after the Center for Disease Control (CDC) announced they are recommending restricting gatherings of 250+ people (since then it has been lowered to 25+) for at least 80 days the NBA then announced they will be following the CDC guideline and will not be considering resuming until the CDC lifts their restriction. 
This puts the league in quite a tough spot as they would be resuming the season in late June. Which would put the playoffs sometime in late July, early August.
I am personally hoping that the NBA helps all players and staff to stay safe in these troubling times. Hopefully the situation improves sooner rather then later and we can continue to all watch the sport that we hold so dear.
