Wolves starting settle, finding success with Towns and

So after a month of the regular season, the Wolves are 8-8. They are 3rd in the Northwest division and 8th seed in the Western Conference.

Considering preseason expectations this is not bad. They have hovered around the 7th/8th position for the first part of the season. They have looked really great at times but also sometimes they make you scratch your head. Lately they have struggled, losing 4 of their last 5 games. However considering their competition that is relatively decent. They should have won that game at home against Utah but that is neither here nor there. Phoenix will forever be a thorn in our side I'm afraid, ever since Wiggins and Towns were drafted the Suns have seemed to have the Wolves' number. They always give us trouble and the still did that on Saturday afternoon. However, highlights of this month include a win over a good Pistons team in Detroit, dominating win over San Antonio at home, a win in Washington to start the month and an impressive victory over the Jazz in their palace. However there is still lots of season left to play so we may not even remember November in 2020.

Standings Update
Like I said before the Wolves are 3rd in the division and 8th in the conference. Not much has changed since last time. Utah and Denver are still fighting for first place in the division but the Nuggets are the obviously better team. A surprise to me is how bad Portland is playing this season. I expected some drop but not this degree. Oklahoma City has been in 4th for a couple weeks now so Portland has been struggling for a while. Hopefully the Wolves can continue to capitalize on these failures.

Up Next
To finish out the month of November the Wolves play 2 more games. The first is tonight (11/25) against the Hawks in Atlanta, tip off is at 6:30 PM CT. The final game of the month is on Wednesday in San Antonio for a showdown with the Spurs, tipoff is at 7:30 PM CT.
