Bison Sports Update: April 14th

Bison Athletics didn't have the greatest week.

Softball
NDSU Softball hosted rival and league-leader South Dakota State this weekend. They had no luck and lost all three games. The opener was a pitching duel that only finished with SDSU winning because of an early home run.
This week, they will head briefly to the north to play UND in Grand Forks. The series will start with a doubleheader on Saturday and the finale on Sunday.
North Dakota State Softball is 3-6 in Summit League play and 16-28 overall on the season.

Baseball
NDSU Baseball visited Minneapolis on Tuesday to play Minnesota. That one wasn't close, losing 11-3. Then they traveled out to Greeley to play Northern Colorado. NDSU absolutely collapsed on Friday late to lose 12-13. But the Bison would take care of business the next two games to take the series over UNC.
This week, NDSU will return back to Minneapolis for the last game against the Gophers for the season. Then they will head home to host Oral Roberts for the weekend series beginning on Friday.
North Dakota State Baseball is 7-5 in Summit League play and 10-21 overall on the season.
