NDSU had a good weekend!

Baseball
NDSU Baseball had a good week. But it didn't go according to plan. This week NDSU was supposed to host 4 straight games. It started when the Dakota Wesleyan game was canceled due to winter weather in the Fargo area. Then, as we approached the weekend series, it was moved to Omaha due to weather in the Fargo area again. Fortunately, the Bison played well in Omaha and won two out of three games. They won they first by an 8th inning score to win 1-0. NDSU lost the second game 2-10. As if the relocation wasn't enough, they had to make Saturday a doubleheader because of bad weather in the Omaha area. NDSU won the series finale as well, 2-0.
This week the Bison hit the road again. On Wednesday, NDSU will visit Big Ten Nebraska for one game. Then on Friday, the Bison will start a 3-game series against 2021 league runner-up Oral Roberts. The series starts at 6 PM.

NDSU Baseball is 9-3 in Summit League play, and 21-11 on the season.

Softball
NDSU Softball also had a good week. It also didn't go according to plan. The Bison were supposed to host Western Illinois in Fargo, but instead hosted the three game series in Omaha. The change in venue didn't seem to change NDSU's luck. The Bison won the series by a combined 27 runs. They started with a 7-0 win, then won 12-1 and 10-1 each in 5 innings.
This week NDSU will come home to host a series against league-leading South Dakota State. It begins on Friday at 12 PM CT.

NDSU Softball is 7-4 in Summit League play, and 25-17 on the season.
