Bison Sports Update: April 20

Happy Easter to all! He is Risen!

Softball
NDSU Softball had another rough week. The Bison started the week down in Madison, Wisconsin in a dual with the Badgers. That didn't end well for them as both games would end in 5 innings as losses. Then, over the weekend, the Bison would head to Brookings for a series with South Dakota State. NDSU had very little success against the Jacks and were swept with 2 out of 3 ending early.
This week, the Bison will head home for the final series of the season in Fargo against South Dakota. That will start on Saturday with a doubleheader.
North Dakota State Softball is 3-9 in Summit League play and 16-27 overall on the season.

Baseball
NDSU Baseball also had a rough week. They started their journey down in Minneapolis against the Gophers. While they would have some early success, they would lose 2-9. Over the weekend, they would come home to host Northern Colorado. NDSU would win the series opener, but the Bears would get the better of them in the last two games, winning the weekend series.
This week, the Bison will first head back down to Omaha to play Creighton again and for the final time on Tuesday. Then, over the weekend, they will head to Brookings to play South Dakota State in a 3 game series.
North Dakota State Baseball is 10-7 in Summit League play and 13-22 overall on the season.
