Bison Sports Update: April 21st

It was a tale of two teams this week for the Bison.

Softball
NDSU Softball ventured the short distance up north to faceoff against UND. They lost all three games including the opener that they led until the 7th inning.
This week, the Bison will return home to play Kansas City starting with a doubleheader on Saturday and the finale on Sunday.
North Dakota State Softball is 3-9 in Summit League play and 16-31 on the season.

Baseball
NDSU Baseball was supposed to start the week with a visit to Minnesota - but that was cancelled due to some mid-week rain in Minneapolis. So they moved on to the home series against ORU. This series was also adjusted due to some late April cold weather on Friday. In the doubleheader on Saturday, the teams split with ORU taking the first game and NDSU taking the second on a walk off hit by Garret Hill. That would prove to provide deja vu on Sunday with Garret Hill hitting the walk off hit again to take the series for NDSU!
This week, the Bison will stay home again and host Mayville State on Tuesday. Then they will welcome in Omaha over the weekend for a three game series.
North Dakota State Baseball is 9-6 in Summit League play and 12-22 overall on the season.
