NDSU had an up and down week.

Baseball
NDSU Baseball had a great week! It started pretty rocky with a close loss to Nebraska on Wednesday. It required a save by the Huskers to beat the Bison. The weekend went a different way. NDSU started the series against Oral Roberts with an ugly 4-10 loss on Friday. But the Bison rallied on Saturday to beat the Golden Eagles twice in a row to claim the series victory, marking their 5th straight Summit League series victory this season. All of those victories have been made on the road.
This week in theory, the Bison will finally get to open the home field. NDSU is scheduled take on Valley City State at Newman Outdoor Field on Tuesday at 6:30 PM. Then the team hits the road yet again to face the Jackrabbits. That series begins on Friday at 3 PM in Brookings.

NDSU Baseball is 11-4 in Summit League play, and 23-13 overall on the year.

Softball
NDSU Softball had a very rough weekend. They were tasked with hosting South Dakota State. They didn't manage a single win this weekend that was largely determined by weather. On Saturday, the teams began their matchup and had to play 10 innings to decide the winner. The game was postponed in the middle of the 9th inning due to a Tornado Warning in Fargo. After they resumed, SDSU scored 7 runs to claim victory in the 10th inning. In the second game of the doubleheader the Bison struggled yet again, keeping it scoreless until the 6th inning. This one was also postponed in the 2nd inning due to rain. When they came back, SDSU scored all their runs in the 6th and 7th innings to claim another victory by the same score. Their Sunday matchup was cancelled due to bad weather in Fargo.
The Bison will head back on the road this week to our northern neighbors. The series against UND begins on Saturday with a doubleheader starting at 12 PM.

NDSU Softball is 7-6 in Summit League play, and 25-19 overall on the year.
