Its only been a few days since my last update, but lets do another one!

Football
NDSU Football opened their 2025 season in Charleston, South Carolina against The Citadel this weekend. It was quite the crummy game to start out, as it was raining heavily on the East Coast right before the game. As the first quarter went on, it would slow down and to a stop in the 2nd quarter. That would be about the time the Bison found their footing. While there was no score in the 1st quarter, the Bison would get on the board not long into the 2nd quarter with Eli Ozick's first field goal as the starting kicker for NDSU. On their next drive, the Bison would post their first touchdown of the afternoon, with Barika Kpeenu punching it in. The Bison would wrap up the half with Cole Payton's first passing touchdown as the starter, caught by super senior RaJa Nelson. The Citadel meanwhile had lots of struggles the entire half. NDSU's defense seemed to be silencing them as much as possible.
In the second half, NDSU would continue the thrashing with three more touchdowns. Barika would punch in another, and Kennesaw State transfer DJ Scott would run in another after a fumble recovered by the defense got the team to the goal line. In the 4th quarter, the backup offense would score the game's final touchdown with QB Nathan Hayes throwing a 15 yard dot to Isiah St. Romain. NDSU would complete the shutout for a fantastic opening day win!
This week, the Bison will head back out to the east coast - this time to Nashville to play Tennessee State at 1:30 PM.
North Dakota State Football is 1-0 overall on the season.

Soccer
NDSU soccer took advantage of the rather similar home stretch this week and beat MSU Moorhead on Sunday.
This week, the Bison will host NAIA Clarke on Thursday and UC Santa Barbara on Sunday.
North Dakota State Soccer is 3-3 overall on the season.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball opened their season with some home matches this weekend. The Bison swept Bowling Green and Temple on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday they wrapped up the weekend with a 5 set win over Saint Mary's.
This week, the Bison will head out to Missoula for the Ellesyn Invitational. They will play Oakland on Friday and Montana on Saturday.
North Dakota State Volleyball is 3-0 overall on the season.

Go Bison!!!
