Bison Sports Update: December 26th

Not as much activity this week but some stuff to talk about!

Football
NDSU Football is off until the National Championship game on the 8th. The game will be in Frisco, Texas at 11 AM in front of a national audience on ABC/ESPN2.

NDSU Football is 7-1 in MVFC play and 13-1 overall on the year.

Men's Basketball
NDSU Men's Basketball opened Summit League play this week!
The Bison hosted in-state rival North Dakota on Wednesday. It was very fun game inside the Shac that was well attended with roughly 3,100 people on hand to watch the battle for North Dakota.
NDSU had quite the game, while it was pretty close for most of the night but the Bison were able to pull away towards then end leading to a 86-76 win!

This week NDSU will host rival South Dakota State on Thursday at 7 PM. Then, South Dakota will come to town on New Years Day on Saturday at 1 PM.

NDSU Men's Basketball is 1-0 in Summit League play and 9-4 on the season.

Women's Basketball
NDSU Women's Basketball also opened their Conference season this week.
NDSU traveled north to play in-state rival UND. The Bison fared quite well in their battle for ND. They were able to score the win in Grand Forks, escaping with a 67-61 win.

This week the Bison will stay on the road. They will now travel to rival South Dakota State on Thursday at 7 PM. Then they will visit powerhouse South Dakota on New Years Day at 1 PM.

NDSU Women's Basketball 1-0 in Summit League and 5-6 on the season.
