A mostly great week for Bison Athletics!

Men's Basketball
NDSU Men's Basketball had a crucial couple of home games this week. In the big game against Oral Roberts on Thursday, the Bison largely dominated the Golden Eagles in a game that may decide a tiebreaker down the road. NDSU shut down NCAA top scorer Max Abmas to 22 points. The Bison won, 77-59 after growing a huge lead in the final 2 minutes. However, there was a scuffle after the game between the two teams. It resulted in fines to both head coaches and half game suspensions to two players on each team. The Bison would be without Freshman Grant Nelson and Sophomore Boden Skunberg for Saturday's matchup. On Senior Day Saturday, NDSU hosted Kansas City for the final home game of the season. The Bison seemed to hold their own in the first half, taking a one point lead at the break. But NDSU didn't seem to have it at the end and lost 71-85.
The Bison now sit a half game back from Oral Roberts yet again, but hold the tie breaker over them. However, Kansas City has the tiebreaker over the Bison. But ORU has a tiebreaker over UMKC. NDSU just needs to take care of business in Grand Forks on Saturday and that will be all they can do.
NDSU will travel to Grand Forks next Saturday for the final game of the regular season.

North Dakota State Men's Basketball is 12-5 in Summit League play, and 20-9 overall on the season.

Women's Basketball
NDSU Women's Basketball suffered greatly this week. On Thursday in Tulsa, the Bison lost to Oral Roberts by 4 points in a close game. Then on Saturday the Herd suffered a 67-76 loss to Kansas City.
The Bison head home for the final time next Saturday when they take on North Dakota at 1 PM.

North Dakota State Women's Basketball is 6-11 in Summit League play, and 10-17 overall on the season.

Softball
NDSU Softball had a great weekend down in Statesboro, Georgia at the Gata Challenge. The Bison won all four games by a total margin of 35-4, the first match finishing in 5 innings.
NDSU will now head down to New Mexico for the Lobo Classic. They will begin on Friday at 1:30 PM against Tarleton. The Bison will play Tarleton again, host New Mexico, Buffalo, and UTEP in the 5 game challenge.

North Dakota State Softball is 7-2 on the season.

Baseball
NDSU Baseball had a satisfying opening weekend down in Abilene, Texas. They went down there for a four game series with the Wildcats. The Bison won 3 out of 4. They needed a save for all four wins. But they won the last three games; 7-4, 4-0, and 10-7 respectively. They lost the first match, 3-5.
The Bison will now travel to Utah for a three game series with the Dixie State Trailblazers. They begin on Friday.

North Dakota State Baseball is 3-1 on the season.
