Bison Sports Update: February 27th

Bison Athletics had a good week this week!

Men's Basketball
NDSU Men's Basketball had a good end to the regular season this week. The Bison visited our in state neighbors to the North. They beat UND, 79-53 with the Fighting Hawks never having a chance. The Bison finish the season with a sweep over UND. NDSU finished the season in 2nd place in the conference. 
The Bison will take on 7th seeded Denver next Saturday at 8:30 PM CT at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

North Dakota State Men's Basketball finishes the regular season 13-5 in Summit League play, and 21-9 overall on the season.

Women's Basketball
NDSU Women's Basketball also had a great end to the season this week. The Bison hosted said in-state rival. Safe to say it was a good one! While the two teams were close in the first half, later in the 3rd quarter the Bison started to grow a lead. In the 4th quarter the Bison furthered that lead to make it a 81-64 win at home on Senior Day! Given the win in the first game of conference season, the Bison sweep UND. NDSU finishes the regular season in 6th place in the conference.
The Bison will take on 3rd seeded Kansas City next Sunday at 2:45 PM CT at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

North Dakota State Women's Basketball finishes the regular season 7-11 in Summit League play, and 11-17 overall on the season.

Softball
NDSU Softball traveled down to New Mexico this weekend for the Lobo Classic. They faced off against Buffalo, New Mexico (the host), UTEP, and Tarleton (twice). The Bison beat Buffalo and Tarleton (both times), but lost to New Mexico and UTEP. 
NDSU finishes the month of February with a 10-4 record and was 3-2 in New Mexico.
Now the Bison will travel over to Riverside, California for the Amy S. Harrison Classic where they will play Cal State Northridge, California Baptist, UC Riverside (host, twice), and Oregon State. They begin on Friday at 3 PM CT.

North Dakota State Softball is 10-4 on the season.

Baseball
NDSU Baseball headed over to St. George, Utah to play a four game series against Dixie State. They went 1-3 over the weekend, losing two straight to start, 1-4 and 2-6. Then the Bison won the third game, 6-2. Losing the finale, 4-6. 
Now NDSU will travel to Long Beach, California to take on Long Beach State in a 3 game series. The action begins at 8 PM CT on Friday. Friday and Sunday's games will be broadcast on ESPN+.

North Dakota State Baseball is 4-4 on the season.
