Bison Sports Update: January 14th

NDSU Athletics had a good week.

Men's Basketball
NDSU Men's Basketball started their first road trip in Summit League play. They started with a 7 PM game in Kansas City. The Bison and the Roos needed two overtimes to decide the result, but NDSU pulled out the one point win - 92-91. On Saturday, they weren't as fortunate. After having multiple 9 point leads in the game, this one needed overtime as well. NDSU fell for the first time in the extra period this season, 92-96.
This week, the Bison return home to host Denver on Thursday at 7 PM CT and reigning conference champ Oral Roberts on Saturday at 1 PM CT. Both games will be broadcast on WDAY Xtra and the Summit League Network.
North Dakota State Men's Basketball is 1-2 in Summit League play and 8-10 overall on the season.

Women's Basketball
NDSU Women's Basketball had their first conference homestand of the season. They began with a home date with Kansas City on Thursday. NDSU had a really bad start in the 1st quarter, only scoring 3 points, but they would leave that behind in the next 3 quarters and would win 63-60. On Saturday, the Bison would leave no doubt, beating Omaha 87-69. NDSU is now on a 3 game win streak, all at home.
This week, the Bison hit the road again to play Denver on Thursday at 7 PM CT and then Oral Roberts on Saturday at 2 PM CT. Both games will be broadcast on the Summit League Network.
North Dakota State Women's Basketball is 3-0 in Summit League play and 9-7 overall on the season.
