The Bison had a great week!!

Men's Basketball
NDSU Men's Basketball had the majority of the week off. On Saturday, the Bison hosted UND as part of a doubleheader with the women's teams. NDSU would start the game strong, but UND would find their way into it mid way in the 2nd half. It would be back and forth all the way to the end, when the Bison emerged victorious in a 87-82 decision.
This week is a big one! The Bison will host archrival South Dakota State on Thursday at 7 PM CT in a battle of teams tied for third in the conference. Then, on Sunday, the Bison will travel down to St. Paul to face off against St. Thomas. The Tommies have only lost one game in the Summit this season, and the Bison hope to wipe away the loss they took at home a few weeks ago to UST. That game will tipoff at 3 PM CT on CBS Sports Network.
North Dakota State Men's Basketball is 5-2 in Summit League play and 16-6 overall on the season.

Women's Basketball
NDSU Women's Basketball had quite the bounce back week. The Bison visited Vermillion on Wednesday to face off against South Dakota. While the game was close for 3 out of 4 quarters, the Bison would pull away in the 4th and get the bounce back victory. NDSU has now won in Vermillion for the last 3 seasons in a row. On Saturday, as part of the doubleheader, the Bison would face off against UND. Just like the men's game, UND would stay close to the Bison for the majority of the game. Ultimately, NDSU would come up clutch in the final minute of the game to secure the victory.
This week, the Bison will travel back down to South Dakota - this time to Brookings - to play league-leading South Dakota State. It will be the first time this season that the championship matchup from last season is replayed, this time at 7 PM CT. On Saturday, the Bison will come back home to host St. Thomas at 1 PM CT.

Stay tuned next week for my softball season preview!

Go Bison!!
