It was pretty decent week to be a Bison I would say.

Football
NDSU Football went down to Frisco, Texas to play in their 11th national championship game against top seeded Montana State. The game was played on a Monday night for the first time since the 2010, and definitely had an electric atmosphere! The Bison started with the ball and would put up two touchdowns in the 1st quarter. The Bobcats wouldn't score until a field went through the uprights in the 2nd quarter, the Bison would tack on another touchdown before halftime. Coming out of the locker room, the Bobcats would find their stride on offense, and put up two touchdowns to draw within a field goal of the Bison. NDSU would finally respond though and put up their first second half TD. This would be a game of back and forth for a bit, as Montana State would answer back. NDSU would get a crucial touchdown with 2:40 to go in the game. Montana State would need to get a touchdown and a field goal to tie the game. The Bobcats drove down and were able to score a touchdown with about 1:08 remaining in the game. NDSU would manage to whittle the entire remaining time off the clock after an onside kick recovery. The Bison have won their 10th FCS national title and 18th title overall!! Its party time folks!!!
The National Champion North Dakota State Bison football team finishes the season with a 7-1 MVFC record and a 14-2 record overall.

Men's Basketball
By contrast, the Bison men's basketball team had an awful weekend. On Thursday, the Bison opened Summit League play hosting St. Thomas. NDSU and the Tommies had quite the game but the Bison fell, 85-89. On Saturday, the Bison hosted Omaha. NDSU would fall again, 80-85.
This week, the Bison will hit the road to play at Oral Roberts on Thursday at 7 PM and then at Denver on Saturday at 2 PM. Both games will be streamed on the Summit League Network.
North Dakota State Men's Basketball is 0-2 in Summit League play and 11-6 overall on the season.

Women's Basketball
NDSU Women's Basketball had a decent start to their Summit League schedule this week. They defeated St. Thomas on the road on Saturday, 73-59.
This week, the Bison will open up the home conference schedule by hosting Denver on Thursday at 7 PM and then Oral Roberts on Saturday at 12 PM.
North Dakota State Women's Basketball is 1-0 in Summit League play and 9-5 overall on the season.

Go Bison!!
