Bison Sports Update: March 16

It was a good week for the Bison!!

Women's Basketball
NDSU Women's Basketball received an invitation to the 2025 Women's NIT on Sunday! The matchups are still TBD, and will be announced on Monday, March 17.
North Dakota State Women's Basketball is 11-5 in Summit League play and 19-11 overall on the season.

Softball
NDSU Softball went over to Louisiana to play Southeast Louisiana on Tuesday. The Bison lost, 1-3. Then, they finished the week at the Rebel Invitational in Oxford, Mississippi. NDSU lost to Samford both times, allowing double digit runs both games and one of them finished in 6 innings. They then got their only win of the week over Iowa State on Friday in a 9 inning thriller. Then, they finished up with a 5 inning loss to 22nd ranked Ole Miss (host). The final game of the weekend against Ole Miss was cancelled due to weather.
This week, the Bison will begin Summit League play with a trip to Kansas City. That series will begin on Saturday with a doubleheader and wrap up on Sunday.
North Dakota State Softball is 13-16 overall on the season.

Baseball
NDSU Baseball went over to Tulsa this weekend to open Summit League play at reigning champion Oral Roberts for a three game series. The Bison had a good series, winning the first two to claim the series victory. They fell on Sunday, 6-9 in the finale.
This week, the Bison will head over to Stillwater, Oklahoma for a mid-week dual against Oklahoma State on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then, over the weekend, they will continue Summit League play with a visit to Northern Colorado for a three game series.
North Dakota State Baseball is 2-1 in Summit League play and 4-14 overall on the season.
