Bison Sports Update: March 20th

NDSU Athletics had quite the week this week!

Softball
NDSU Softball started the week out in Charlottesville, Virginia against Virginia. The Bison were victorious with a 2-0 victory. 
Next, NDSU went out to College Park, Maryland for the Capital City Classic. They were victorious against every opponent in the classic including; Binghamton, Maryland, Army, and Monmouth. They did lose their final game in the series against Maryland, 3-5. This classic concluded NDSU's non-conference play for the season.
This week the Bison will begin Summit League play when they visit the South Dakota Coyotes for a 3-game series starting on Saturday with a doubleheader.

NDSU Softball is 18-13 on the season.

Baseball
NDSU Baseball continued their stay in Florida this week, starting with Florida Atlantic on Tuesday and Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday. On Tuesday, NDSU beat FAU, 12-3. But the Bison fell on Wednesday to FGCU, 8-9.
Then NDSU went to Port Charlotte for the Snowbird Classic against Fairfield. The Bison swept the series, 3-0 with 8-2, 12-9, and 5-1 wins. This does not conclude non-conference play, NDSU has an April 5th date with Minnesota at Seibert Field.
Now NDSU will begin conference play at Northern Colorado in a 3-game series.

NDSU Baseball is 12-8 on the season.
