Bison Sports Update: March 26th

Bison Athletics had a great week.

Softball
NDSU Softball had a great weekend down in Kansas City! They swept the series over the Roos, winning two out of three in 5 innings. They won the first game 10-0, second one 4-1, and finale 11-1. 
This week, the Bison will travel to Macomb, Illinois to play Western Illinois in a 3-game series. The series begins on Saturday with a doubleheader starting at 12 PM. The series finishes on Sunday with the finale at 11 AM.

North Dakota State Softball is 3-0 in Summit League play, and 19-11 overall on the season.

Baseball
NDSU Baseball had a considerably better conference opening weekend then most of the last month and a half. The Bison traveled to Omaha this weekend to play the Mavericks in a three game series. NDSU managed to win the series opener on Friday, 10-2. Then after weather was predicted in the area on Sunday, the rest of the series was played as a doubleheader on Saturday. NDSU would split the two games, losing the first one 6-7, and then winning the series finale 7-2. 
This week, the Bison will play a one-off game with Nebraska on Tuesday in Lincoln. That game starts at 6:05 PM. Then they will travel to Brookings for a three game series with the Jacks from Friday through Sunday, the action begins at 3 PM. 

North Dakota State Baseball is 2-1 in Summit League play, and 5-18 overall on the season.
