It was a decent week for the Bison.

Women's Basketball
NDSU Women's basketball went to Minneapolis on Friday to play the Gophers in the Super 16 round of the WNIT. While the Bison kept with Minnesota for the majority of the game, they just couldn't keep a lead. NDSU was able to gain a 3 point lead with just over 2 minutes left in the game, but did not score another point and committed two costly turnovers to fall to the Gophers and end their season.
It was a great year for the program though! 22 wins is the most in the Division I era, and made their first Summit League championship game! They also won a game in the WNIT, which is another first! There is a bright future for this program despite one of its best players in Heaven Hamling graduating in May. Great season ladies, and we look forward to next season!!
North Dakota State Women's Basketball finishes the season with a 13-3 record in Summit League play and a 22-13 overall record.

Softball
NDSU Softball opened up Tharaldson Park for the first time in 2024 this weekend! They hosted St. Thomas, for the program's first games at home in March in the Division I era. The Bison had their way with the Tommies in almost every game. The opener was a 4-0 decision victory, but the second being a 13-4 game that ended in 5 innings and finale a 12-9 game that was 12-2 early. NDSU now moves on to April.
This week, the Bison head out to Paradise, Nevada for their last non-conference games of the season. They will play UNLV in a 3 game series beginning with a double-header on Saturday at 4 PM CT, and finishing with the finale on Sunday at 2 PM CT.
North Dakota State Softball is 3-3 in Summit League play and 15-23 overall on the season.

Baseball
NDSU Baseball was supposed to play St. Thomas in St. Paul this weekend. However, due to the snowstorm that moved through the Twin Cities this past week, the field was not ready to play. The series has been postponed to a later date yet to be announced.
This week, the Bison will head down to Omaha to play Creighton on Wednesday in a one-off game at 6 PM CT. Then, on Friday, they will head back to Fargo to open up Newman Outdoor Field for the first time in 2024. The Bison host South Dakota State for a three-game series beginning on Friday and ending on Sunday.
North Dakota State Baseball is 4-2 in Summit League play and 7-16 overall on the season.

Go Bison!!
