Yeah, not a great week.

Softball
NDSU Softball went down to Brookings this week for the 2025 Summit League softball tournament. They matched up as the 5 seed playing 4 seed North Dakota. The Bison would not perform well, as they wouldn't score a run in an 8-0 5 inning rule defeat that would end their season.
Despite how the season ended, it was still a good season, well done ladies!
North Dakota State Softball finishes the season 6-12 in Summit League play and 19-31 overall.

Baseball
NDSU Baseball started the week with a rare opportunity to play a professional team in the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks of the American Association. The Bison impressed, as they fell to the Redhawks 5-4 at Newman Outdoor Field on Wednesday. Over the weekend, the Bison visited the league leading Tommies in St. Paul. NDSU wouldn't fare well at St. Thomas, as they would get swept. This would move the Bison down to a tie for 4th place in the standings. They could still climb to 3rd, which would get them the 2nd seed in the tournament due to St. Thomas being ineligible.
This week, the Bison will come home to host the final league series of the season against Omaha. That series will start on Thursday and run through Saturday.
North Dakota State Baseball is 12-15 in Summit League play and 16-31 overall on the season.
