It was a great week to be a Bison!!

Baseball
This week, the Bison baseball team went down to Omaha for the Summit League tournament. NDSU started off the week a little shaky in the offensive department, but pitching was spectacular in the tournament opener - earning the Bison a 1-0 victory over 3rd seeded Omaha. On Thursday, the Bison then was able to upset top-seeded Oral Roberts 4-0 to advance to the championship game for the first time since 2021! After several other games, NDSU rematched ORU in the finals. In game 1, the Bison fell in a close game, 3-1. However, in the final game - the Bison would find a way to pull through in the later innings and defeat the Golden Eagles for NDSU's 3rd Summit League tournament title!
On Monday, the NCAA tournament field was announced and NDSU will be playing in the Lafayette Regional down at the University of Arkansas. They will be playing the Razorbacks in game 1. Since the regional is a double elimination tournament, they will also at least play one more game, and that will be against either Creighton or Kansas. The NCAA tournament will start on Friday at 2:00 PM CT on ESPN+. Any second game would take place on Saturday, and then the regional finals on Sunday and Monday.
North Dakota State Baseball is 13-15 in Summit League play and 20-32 overall on the season.
