Bison Sports Update: May 29th

Not the greatest week for NDSU Athletics.

Baseball
NDSU Baseball entered the Summit League tournament as the number 1 seed this weekend down in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Bison struggled against Omaha this year, losing both matchups against them in the tournament. The first one a 10-2 loss, and the second a 5-3 save. NDSU managed to beat South Dakota State after falling to the losers bracket but couldn't manage to advance past Omaha to the Championship game.
Nevertheless, this was another big and great season for NDSU Baseball. This program is starting to become more smooth and frequent. Tyler Oakes first season as head coach went well and I think we should expect similar to these results going forward and I am looking towards next year and how the Bison can improve upon this season. It will definitely be a talking point that this team needs to figure out how to transfer their regular season triumphs over to the tournament.

NDSU Baseball finishes the season with a 17-5 record in the Summit League, and a 31-19 record overall.
