Bison Sports Update: November 12th

This was kind of a weird week.

Football
NDSU Football was off this week and I am sure they enjoyed the time off.
This week, the Bison will host the red-hot Missouri State Bears on Saturday at 2:30 PM CT at the Fargodome.
North Dakota State Football is 6-0 in MVFC play and 9-1 overall on the season.

Soccer
NDSU Soccer hosted the semifinals and championship of the 2024 Summit League tournament this past week. The Bison played on Thursday against 5th seeded Oral Roberts. They would fall in penalties, 5-3. NDSU's best season in a decade came to an end. Still, what a great season ladies!
North Dakota State Women's Soccer finishes the season 6-1-1 in Summit League play, and 10-6-3 overall on the season.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball struggled this week again. The Bison played both South Dakota schools this week, and lost both of them. They were only able to win a set in the home game against USD. Not a great week.
This week, the Bison will come home to host one of the final two games of the regular season on Saturday with Kansas City at 7 PM CT.
North Dakota State Volleyball is 6-8 in Summit League play and 10-13 overall on the season.

Men's Basketball
NDSU Men's Basketball started with a few games of the season. The Bison hosted Jamestown to begin, and had their way with them, winning 96-59. On Thursday, the Bison hosted Illinois State, and unfortunately lost after holding a 15 point lead midway through the 2nd half. On Monday, the Bison visited Cal State Bakersfield and lost again after leading - 86-81. 
This week, the Bison will visit Santa Clara on Wednesday at 9 PM CT to round out the West Coast trip.
North Dakota State Men's Basketball is 1-2 overall on the season.

Women's Basketball
NDSU Women's Basketball hosted two games this past week to open the season. They fell to Drake after leading for most of the game, 84-78. Then, on Sunday the Bison beat Eastern Illinois, 65-56.
This week, the Bison will host Jamestown on Friday at 7 PM CT.
North Dakota State Women's Basketball is 1-1 overall on the season.
