Bison Sports Update: November 27th

NDSU had a decent week this week.

Football
NDSU Football had their first round bye this week after receiving the 3 seed in the FCS playoffs. On Saturday, Montana beat Southeast Missouri State to advance to the second round to face the Bison. That game will take place on Saturday at 2:30 PM CT.

North Dakota State Football is 9-2 overall on the season, and 7-1 in MVFC play.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball played in the Summit League tournament this past week in Omaha, Nebraska. The Bison started the tournament facing off against 6th seeded North Dakota. NDSU beat the Fighting Hawks in three sets. They advanced to the semifinals against 2nd seed, and host, Omaha. They unfortunately lost in four sets to be eliminated from the tournament. However, NDSU was formerly invited to the NIVC tournament on Saturday night. That tournament will take place at various campus host sites. The first round region that the Bison will start at will take place at Wake Forest's campus in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The Bison will take on Davidson in the opening round. This tournament is single-elimination and will start on Friday at 2 PM CT.

North Dakota State Volleyball is 21-11 on the season, and 13-5 in Summit League play.

Men's Basketball
NDSU Men's Basketball had a down week this week. The Bison traveled down to Albuquerque, New Mexico to play in the Lobo Classic hosted by New Mexico. NDSU lost all three games played. On Friday, they lost to Northern Colorado 80-70. On Saturday they lost to New Mexico, 76-55. Then they lost the finale on Sunday to Jacksonville State, 81-71.
This week, NDSU will travel to Cheney, Washington to play Eastern Washington on Saturday at 4 PM CT.

North Dakota State Men's Basketball is 1-7 on the season.

Women's Basketball
NDSU Women's Basketball had a great week this week! The Bison started the week at home and beat Northern Colorado on Tuesday, 68-54. NDSU then traveled down to Reno, Nevada to play in the Nugget Classic. The Bison proceeded to beat Boise State, 68-53, and then classic host 73-68 to conclude the tournament.
This week, the Bison will continue their road trip when they visit Eastern Michigan on Thursday at 6 PM CT, and then head over to Mount Pleasant to play Central Michigan on Saturday at 12 PM CT. 

North Dakota State Women's Basketball is 6-0 on the season.
