NDSU Athletics did not have the best of weeks.

Football
NDSU Football hosted 2nd ranked South Dakota State for the yearly Dakota Marker matchup. NDSU was able to score 3 touchdowns in the first half, two in the first quarter alone. They held SDSU to one touchdown in the first half in what looked to be a dominant showing.
However, the team fell silent in the 2nd half and couldn't manage much of any offense. The defense managed to hold the Jackrabbits for most of the 3rd quarter. But by the end of that quarter the SDSU offense was driving down the field. In the 4th quarter, the Jacks scored 23 unanswered points to take the game. This marks three games straight that SDSU has beaten the Bison.

NDSU will take this week off as their bye week. They are back in action on Saturday, October 29th when they will host Illinois State at 2:30 PM CT.

North Dakota State Football is 5-2 overall and 3-1 in MVFC play.

Women's Soccer
NDSU Soccer had a good week this week. The Bison were off for most of the week. They headed north to visit in-state rival North Dakota on Sunday. They beat the Fighting Hawks 2-0 in a statement win.
This week, NDSU will return home for their final two games of the season. They will play South Dakota on Friday at 6 PM, and then host South Dakota State on Sunday at 1 PM.

North Dakota State Women's Soccer is 7-7-3 overall and 3-4 in Summit League play.

Volleyball
NDSU Volleyball had a up and down week this week where they hit the road yet again. They started with a visit to the Rocky Mountains where they beat Denver in 3 sets. Then they traveled to Omaha to play the Mavericks. They fell in 4 sets.
This week, the Bison come home to play Western Illinois on Thursday at 7 PM. On Saturday they host St. Thomas at 1 PM.

North Dakota State Volleyball is 13-7 overall and 6-2 in Summit League play.

Hopefully this week is a better one!
Go Bison!
